Kanye West has been officially charged for last September’s run-in with the paparazzi at LAX airport.
He was charged today with three criminal misdemeanors; one count each of vandalism, battery, and grand theft, after stealing a photog’s precious camera.
Kanye’s business manager Don Crawley wascharged with the same counts, but two of each.
It seems too far away now, but as you may recall, Kanye was making his way through LAX on his way to Honolulu when he was hounded by the paps and decided to teach them a lesson!
He ended up getting into a scuffle with one of the men, and his manager smashed a $10,000 video camera to the ground.
If convicted, Kanye could face a maximum of two and a half years in jail and his manager could get up to five years, though we highly doubt that would happen. Community service and a slap on the wrist is more like it.
An arraignment is scheduled for April 14.
