The Fame Kills tour is officially off! Yesterday we heard rumors that
Lady Gaga was considering pulling out of the tour because of
Kanye West’s baggage, including his VMA stunt and talks of him going to rehab.
But now we can confirm that the tour is indeed canceled after Live Nation put out a press release today confirming the news. There is no official reason as of yet, but sources say it had to do with extremely low ticket sales, and the rehab rumors.
The press release states that refunds are available at the point of purchase, and that tickets purchased online and via phone will be refunded automatically.
It seems like Gaga never really wanted Kanye associated with her, since she said in a radio interview just last week, "We did not do this tour for each other. We did this tour for everybody else.”
We guess it just wasn’t worth her reputation in the end! But lucky for us, Lady Gaga won’t be gone for long. She says, “I'm doing another world tour after this, which is going to be in March of next year."
It’s sad, because this probably would have been an epic show. Time to get your act together, Kanye!
