Donda West Law Proposed

One of the latest bills proposed in the state of California is called the Donda West Law. Inspired by Kanye's mom, the law would require patients to have medical clearance before undergoing elective surgery.

Kanye is behind having this legislation passed. But others are criticizing the law, saying elective surgery is a personal decision, one the government has no business governing. What are your thoughts?

He's right!!! Those who are not medically fit should not be operated on...until, or if, their personal medical conditions improve to safe levels!!!

The fact is there is always going to be a **ked "doctor" out there doing this this shit under the table. So, no matter how many laws are put out there this shit is still going to happen. Like thinker said people's own stupidity.

i think this needs to be regulated...if a dr can be sued then they need to protect themselves by requiring medical clearence. look what happened to the surgeon that knifed up donda..he was already crooked but now his practice is all but dead...that could have easliy had been another famous surgeon had he not been smart enough to turn her away because of her heart condidtion. i dido this law. some people want so bad to look good that they just dont care about putting themselves in harm's way or potentially ruining the career of the performing surgeon.

I've allways had medical screening before all my 10 operations I have had in my life, i.e, ekg & bloodwork. That's routine.

Fact is that "cosmetic surgery" is not like applying makeup. It is surgery! All other surgery's require medical clearance, but we missed this one... let's close the loophole... Donda was not the first... just the one that got our attention.
