Justin Timberlake and
Jessica Biel are staying mum on the status of their relationship, but Justin's friends are happy to talk to the press about the breakup--more specifically about how
un-happy they are about it.
Justin's close pals are not only disappointed in his decision to split from Jessica, they've decided to distance themselves from him.
"Justin's friends are usually all about anything he wants, but in this case, his boys are totally disappointed in him," a close friend told
Fox News.
"They think he's making a big mistake by dumping Jess. Justin and Jess have their problems, but all in all, his friends think she is one of the best things that ever happened to him."
The source added that they hoped he was past his bachelor phase, "but it's all beginning all over again. They think if they don't give in he may come to his senses and get back together with Jessica. That's what they really want to see happen."
And Justin's friends aren't the only ones talking about the breakup. His grandma recently talked to
Closer magazine telling the publication he was never "serious" about her.
"As far as we're concerned, he's always been single. The girlfriends come and go, but we believe nothing has ever been serious," said Justin's grandmother Sadie Bomar.
