Justin Timberlake has just raised $1 million for the Shriners’ Hospitals for children. But he did it with the help of a few friends: the Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, 50 Cent, and Leona Lewis.
As Hollyscoop reported previously, JT held a series of events in Vegas last week to raise the money. Things kicked off with a golf tournament, with players including a mix of celebs and real pros. Josh Duhamel, comedian George Lopez, and Chris Kirkpatrick joined him on the links, while Boyz II Men, Maroon 5 frontman Avril Lavigne, and Lionel Richie helped cap off the week with a concert in on Friday night.
Justin says it was easy to get his fellow celebs involved in the event. He says, "I actually wrote letters. I was old fashioned. I didn’t have to stalk anyone."
We love seeing celebs do good. It brings a smile on our face!
