How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Roll Pop? I don’t know, just ask Justin Bieber's new tattoo…
The “As Long As You Love Me” singer revealed the latest tattoo on Monday. The ink is a stylized owl just below his other new “Believe” ink job on his left arm.
Justin’s latest addition to his increasing body art collection debuted on Instagram when he shared the cartoony
depiction of the bird of prey with fans, reducing the nocturnal nighthawk to a Looney Toon bastard child.
But according to Biebs’ Instagram, the picture is not of the lollipop owl but instead the character of Big Mama in Disney’s The Fox and the Hound.
Let me repeat that, the picture – the one that will be permanently be etched into his forearm – is Big Mama from Disney’s 1981 animation The Fox and the Hound.
“I love the fox and the hound,” he updated his Instagram profile to coincide with the new art.
Despite your certain skepticism at reading these words, I am not kidding you. Promise.
Unfortunately for Justin, he doesn’t understand the irony of his own tattoo. Big Mama, after all, warned the Young Fox in the film that time has a way of changing people’s opinions on things (i.e. TATTOOS!).
“Darlin, forever is a long, long time, and time has a way of changing things,” Big Mama, voiced by Pearl Bailey, says in the film.
One positive thing that comes out of the new ink is that Justin can now join the owl tattoo club that Drake started. So, in addition to never having a number one single, the two singers have one more thing in common to chat about.
