Selena Gomez’s girlfriends are so concerned about her rekindled romance with Justin Bieber, they’ve stopped braiding friendship bracelets and closed up their Easy Bake Ovens to try and put an end to this madness once and for all.
“We did everything we could to keep them apart but [Justin] was so persistent,” a friend of the singer told The Sun.
“She has had a really difficult year or so dealing with the tense emotions that come with dating him,” the same friend added. “We thought [Selena] had finally broken free. But he has persuaded her to take him back again. There's not much we can do about it, but we are going to try.''
It’s just a modern day fairytale and Justin has cast a dark spell on Princess Selena, or so Selena’s friends believe, who apparently watch way too much Disney Channel.
“It’s really unhealthy they have such a turbulent relationship at such a young age,” the friend concluded. “He leaves her in floods of tears constantly.”
“Turbulent,” huh? Pretty big word for a middle schooler. Must’ve been the fifth period English class Word of the Day.
While Selena appears to be the one charging full steam ahead into her new bindi-wearing life with abandon, her friends reveal it’s all a front.
“She spent the last year of their relationship an emotional wreck,” another friend said. “And we can see no end in sight to this.”
One friend of the couple that thinks their relationship is a good thing is Cody Simpson, who’s supporting Justin on his Believe tour.
“It’s good to see that,” he said of the two. “She’s always been a great influence on him.”
“She's amazing every time I’ve met her when I’m with him,” he added. “She’s a super sweet girl. I’m happy for them.”
