Everybody hang on… Miley Cyrus is having a moment.
In the wake of the headline-grabbing car accident that left a paparazzo dead after pursuing a Ferrari owned by Justin Bieber, the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer is coming to the 18-year-old boy wonder’s defense.
On a recent Twitter rant, Miley spewed her frustration at the dangers of the lurking media. Girl is pissed…
Coming to Justin’s defense, Miley added:
“It is unfair for anyone to put this on to Justin's conscious as well! This was bound to happen! Your mom teaches u when your a child not to play in the street! The chaos that comes with the paparazzi acting like fools makes it impossible for anyone to make safe choices.”
As we just reported, the paparazzo was struck and killed while photographing Justin’s Ferrari on foot while the sportscar—NOT driven by JB—was pulled over by highway patrol on the 405 Freeway.
Justin had apparently loaned the ride to his buddy Lil Twist—who decided to pretend he was Ryan Gosling in Drive. Which, who could blame them? They were in a FERRARI, after all…
The paps crossed the freeway to get a closer shot, but on his way back to his vehicle, he was stuck by another motorist. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
“The CHP warned the paparazzi to not jump the barrier on the 405 to get shots of Bieber, but he did anyways,” the LAPD told Hollyscoop. “He was killed by a car that was exiting the highway- after being warned to not run out on the busy highway.”
Justin has released a statement, wishing his “thoughts and prayers” to the victim’s family, and urging lawmakers to see this incident as a means for tougher legislation against paparazzi pursuits.
