The Belieber Nation is losing fans almost as fast as Chris Brown.
A new report makes the claim that even Justin Bieber’s grandparents are upset with the boy chanter’s behavior lately. But they’re not washing his mouth out with soap. They’re just ranting to obscure UK publications.
The outlet in question is Britain’s Sunday Express, in which Justin’s grandma, Kathy Bieber, and grandpa, George Bieber, say they’re “shocked and terribly saddened” by the way he’s acting.
“It's worrying,” said Kathy. “You read all sorts of things about him partying and he needs to understand some of those so-called friends probably don't have his best interests at heart..."
Calling Justin a “sweetheart,” Kathy added: “I don't think for one moment this is all about him being a bad boy. He's only just turned 19 and he's still learning to cope with the pressures of fame.”
Fellow baby-faced crooners One Direction have piped up with support for the Biebs via Twitter.
“Although I don't know him personally, I do wish the press would take it easy on @justinbieber,” wrote 1D member Louis Tomlinson.
Meanwhile Justin's grandpa is confident that Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, will get him back on the right track.
“She will make sure he gets back on track,” George said. “Even if she has to put her foot down.”
