Justin Bieber Took DNA Test for Mariah Yeater

Somewhere in the middle of promoting his new Christmas album and showing off Selena Gomez at the AMAs, Justin Bieber found time to take his very first paternity test. Awwww.

Bieber took a DNA test on Friday night in New Jersey. I've never been to Jersey, but from what I hear, this is probably one of the more exciting things to do there.

According to TMZ, Justin took the test in a lab under "very controlled circumstances," and there is a solid chain of custody, which basically means the entire process will be very well documented. So Mariah Yeater and her lawyer will have a tough time challenging the test.

Justin's team refuses to settle or even discuss a possible settlement with Yeater or her lawyer. So now, it's Mariah's move. It's up to her to provide DNA results from her now infamous baby. After that fails, I'm guessing she'll try to get on a reality show. I'm not sure which one, but she has a kid, and she's insane, and seems a good fit for that.

Last week, TMZ revealed some text messages Yeater sent a friend that basically showed she admitted the father was someone else. On Wednesday, Yeater sent a text to a friend begging him to erase messages from his phone in exchange for money:

"Pleeease ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom where she says [the baby] Tristyn is Robbies Son Ill kick u when we get paid i'm trusting you pleeease," Yeater allegedly wrote.

Beiber's lawyer said of the texts: "Our independent investigation indicated Ms. Yeater never met Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child's father, and Ms. Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched a scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media."

But times must be tough, becaue Yeater's lawyer didn’t let that incriminating evidence scare him off. On Wednesday, Jeffrey Leving released a statement about his client, showing that he's still standing by her side. In particular, he addresses the death threats from Beliebers:

"I originally wanted a judge to order a DNA test to make sure the test's chain of custody was safeguarded. But the reality is that that was before these death threats escalated. And they've gotten so out of control, maintaining strict confidentiality is something we have to try. If this doesn't work, and we can't work it out, we can always re-file."

As much fun as the drama of Justin Bieber being a baby daddy would've been, it's not looking good for Yeater. And after it's discovered that Mariah just pulled this accusation out of her butt, Bieber's camp plans to go after her. Justin and his lawyers have vowed to sue Mariah and her lawyers once he proves he is not the father of her child.
