It was an ice cream and tissues kind of weekend if your name is Justin Bieber.

Feeling a bit shunned by the music industry for not being nominated for any Grammy awards, the teen bellower took things into his own hands to draw attention to himself. Unfortunately, the effort quickly turned into a mushy pile of epic failure.

Here’s how the weekend played out…

FML on ‘SNL’: It’s probably no coincidence that Justin scheduled his ‘Saturday Night Live’ performance as host and musical guest on the same weekend as the Grammys.

The boy wonder’s debut as the front man of the NBC sketch comedy show aired the night before music’s big eve. The show’s ratings dropped 4% from when Adam Levine did the same thing last week.

Live Stream Shatted Out: Justin tried to launch a live stream conversation on Sunday night during the telecast of the Grammys. If you were one of the many that tried to load this up, you were greeted by the message “Off Line.”

Sorry, kids. Even the boy wonder is not immune to technical difficulties. Be blamed Ustream.

Desperate Single Release: Following the failed live stream, JB got desperate; releasing a new track “You Want Me."

Based on the way things had been going for Justin, though, the title of the song is actually pretty ironic.

Frustrated Shirtless: A final attempt at attention, Justin posted a series of shirtless self-portraits on Instagram. Why are there children in the background?

Bashed By Rockers: During a walk-by TMZ interview, Black Keys drummer, Patrick Carney, said: “Grammys are for like music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy.”
