It was only a matter of time… Justin Bieber’s ear-shattering fans are finally causing national security issues.
In Norway, 49 teenage girls were injured while participating in what has become conventional with Justin’s appearances: scream and chase him as he drives by.
Tens of thousands of fans took to the streets of Olso, right in to moving traffic where pushing, shoving and trampling ensued. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured but 14 of the girls were carted away in ambulances.
Justin tried to calm the scene the only way he knew how… Twitter.
“NORWAY - please listen to the police. I dont want anyone getting hurt. I want everything to go to plan but your safety must come first...”
TMZ reports that Olso’s Mayor Fabian Stang nearly declared a state of emergency caused by the mob of fans.
"I have already called on the Emergency Planning Agency to examine the entire event from the planning stage to its implementation,” Stang told TMZ. “We have to find out what went wrong and why it happened."
Mayor Stang did all he could do to not get trampled himself. According to TMZ, he hid behind a tree for protection.
The show went on as scheduled. Justin was rushed away shortly after to avoid further incident.
Viewers will get a glimpse into the other chaos that takes place on a Bieber tour in the first ever network special “Justin Bieber: All Around the World” on NBC. The hour-long documentary will take audiences behind the scenes for 12 days on Justin’s Believe tour via “Justin-cam.” The special airs Thursday June 21st from 8-9 pm EST.
Until then… Let the fandemonium proceed!
