In the midst of all of this paternity test drama, Justin Bieber took some time to make three childrens' dreams come true on Tuesday.
The Biebs headed to Paris, France, as part of the Make A Wish program, which grants wishes to sick kids. Three of them wanted to meet Justin Bieber.
Bieber has been feeling the brunt of the entertainment business lately. Between the baby daddy drama and plane hopping, Justin's been pretty exhausted. But not too exhausted to Tweet! Bieber wrote:
"3 countries in 1 Days (sic) yesterday... was exhausted. got much needed rest. Paris We (are) Ready. Slow moving today... weather changes and travel got me sick. Not fun."
After he met his young fans, Bieber wrote: "We go hard! Can't let the fans down. Just met 3 amazing kids and we helped Make a Wish here in France have their 4,000 wish. Honored."
Meanwhile, Mariah Yeater still contends that Justin Bieber is the father of her child. Although Justin says he "never met the woman," if her allegations of a sexual encounter are true, she could possibly land in jail for statutory rape.
Los Angeles Police Commander Andrew Smith said last week that the department could investigate after Yeater filed the paternity suit.
"If it's brought to our attention, of course we'll look into it," Smith said.
And here's what Yeater's lawyer, Matthew Pare, had to say about it: "The issue of statutory rape, even if she's guilty, hypothetically, that has no bearing on the duties to provide child support. It's a totally separate issue."
Yeater was recently interviewed by The Insider, where she claimed that "I have provided evidence to my attorneys and it will show in court to prove that my allegations are true."
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if that "evidence" is a copy of My World with the words "I got mad Bieber Fever" written on it.
Reports surfaced last week that Yeater originally approached her ex-boyfriend about being the child's father. From there, it was revealed that there was another mystery guy, some dude named Steve, that she banged and who also might also be the father.
"Everyone's had a past and made mistakes -- there's nothing wrong with that," Yeater said. "No one's past should matter [toward] a future situation, or anything of that matter."
Bieber has stood by his claim that he has no idea who this person is. Despite rumors that Selena Gomez and Bieber broke up, the two have remained in a relationship.
