You might be paying your manager too much if he gets you a car for your birthday.
Justin Bieber, who has only been legally allowed to drive for the past two years, got an exclusive, expensive, luxury gift for his eighteenth birthday.
Appearing on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Thursday, Bieber revealed that his manager, Scotter Braun, surprised him with a Fisker Karma, a plug-in hybrid luxury sports sedan.
"You work really really hard," his manager, Braun, told him. "I always yell at you, 'Don't get anything flashy!'"
(Oh, Bieber has a Batmobile, by the way. Just thought I should point that out. What's your backup vehicle? Mine's a bike. Justin Bieber's is a freaking Batmobile.)
"You know, we're not about that. Be humble, be humble. And I kind of broke my own rule."
Braun added: "We wanted to make sure, since you love cars, that when you're on the road you are always environmentally friendly. And we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out … I think you know where I'm going, and you're kind of freaking out right now. That's a Fiskar Karma."
Bieber's reaction: "That's for me?! That's crazy!"
Celebs were waiting in line for the eco-friendly vehicle. Al Gore and Colin Powell were among the first people on the car's waiting list. Leonardo DiCaprio got the first one ever made.
Meanwhile, Bieber's new single, Boyfriend, will be out on Thursday March 26. Happy Birthday, Biebs! Enjoy being insanely rich.
