Justin Bieber made an appearance at the Macy’s in New York City to promote his new fragrance “Someday.”
He went outside to greet fans who weren’t allowed inside the department store when an unidentified man jumped over the barrier and assaulted the pop star.
Reports are now saying that the attacker was actually an undercover police officer who leapt to Biebers defense when the crowd got rowdy.
Apparently throngs of teenage girls looked like they might attack Bieber which prompted the police office to move to action. When girls and popstars are packed into the same vicinity, it is more life threatening that some areas of skid row. “Must. Have. That. Fragrance,” I imagine they collectively chanted.
When the police office approached the singer, Bieber didn’t know he was an officer and got defensive and started throwing punches.
ABC news reports that Justin was “startled and shaken” and “visibly upset.” However, we all know how thug Justin is, so after the incident he brushed it off and went back inside the store for a meet and greet with fans. Just a day in the life for J. Bieber.
