Because Justin Bieber’s holiday album is kind of boring and Selena Gomez is like not doing anything interesting, I’m going to continue to stoke the fire that is the Justin Bieber baby momma drama.
First a rando girl named Mariah Yeater accused Justin Bieber of fathering her child and then Bieber was like “naw uh” and then she was like “uhh don’t you remember that night in the Staples Center bathroom” and then Bieber was like “I don’t know that woman” and then Mariah dropped the case when Bieber was like “Imma sue you” and then her lawyer was like “just kidding, we’re back” and then the Yeaters friend leaked text messages that said that some dude named Robbie is actually the baby daddy and now Bieber’s manager is like “I hope she doesn’t want a settlement, cuz we aint payin” and now I have no idea how to feel about anything.
Fortunately for us, Bieber spoke out AGAIN about the baby situation and actually talked at length this time.
“As far as the whole baby situation,” Bieber tells a NY radio station, “it's unfortunate that it had to happen like that that. People make false accusations, but things happen in this industry and you have to keep your head high and be positive."
Ok that’s the same kind of stuff he already said to the Today show. Give me some more deets Justin…
“If it was up to me,” says Justin, “it would have been a better story like, 'Justin Bieber went off to South America with this 27-year-old supermodel.' That would have been awesome.”
Oh like he could pull a 27-year-old supermodel. He probably doesn’t even meet the height requirement for most rides at Disneyland. At least he’s got a sense of humor about the whole thing.
Anyways, Bieber has made it his mission to be some kind of “role model” for kids, by not cussing and doing things for charity etc.
“They say that any press is good press — I do not believe that's true. If you're in the spotlight, then people are looking at you to be a role model, and if you're doing bad things to be getting press, I think that's really, really sad,” says the pop star.
Also, Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, says he thinks Yeaters legal team wants to settle out of court, which means that Yeater thinks Bieber will pay her to shut up and go away, but Braun says that will never happen.
“Look, I don't usually talk in front of mics but the bottom line is they said they're in settlement talks with us, and the only thing I'm gonna say is they will never be in settlement talks with us. We will never settle with them,” says Braun.
