Spoiler alert, there’s a lot of head nodding and fake mustaches...
Justin Bieber, his girlfriend Selena Gomez, and their pal Ashley Tisdale shot a fun music video together that involves a lot of dancing and moving around and... remember the intro to 'Blossom'? Multiply that times five, and you have this video.
The three singers and some of their friends made a home video goofing off to the Carly Rae Jepsen song, ‘Call Me Maybe.’ Tisdale’s new boyfriend, Boys Like Girls’ Martin Johnson, also joins in on the fun.
In the video, the kiddos don fake mustaches, goofy glasses, and laugh as they push each other out of the way and lip-synch to the music. At one point, Selena and Justin almost share a kiss, and then Ashley shoves them out of the way.
Ah, being a teenager is just so much fun and free and—wait, isn’t Ashley Tisdale like 26? Just to put things in perspective, that’s how old some of my college professors were. I’m just saying, I just can’t imagine my old lit prof “Chad” dancing around like that.
Anyway, Carly Rae Jepsen is a pretty obscure 26 year-old Canadian singer/songwriter, but this should get her a few hits.
In January, Gomez Tweeted a photo of Bieber and wrote: "This smile is because of Carly Rae Jepsen.. We have not stopped listening your song girl!"
26 year-old Jepsen was hand picked by Bieber after he heard her song on a Canadian radio station. Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun even signed Jepsen to his label, Schoolboy Records. The singer placed third in the fifth season of ‘Canadian Idol.’
