2012 American Music Awards Winners List & Recap

In case you didn’t see the American Music Awards last night, here’s all the winners and everything that happened…in a nutshell.

Justin Bieber brought his mom as his date because he and Selena Gomez are donzo.

Bieber picked up a couple awards that night telling the audience, “I want to say this is for all the haters who thought that I was just here for one or two years. I feel like I'm going to be here for a very long time."

Ok Bieber, this is the NOT the Jerry Springer Show.

Not surprisingly Taylor Swift won her fifth consecutive award for favorite country female artist.

Taylor Swift also performed her new single “I Knew You Were Trouble” and brought the DRAMA. Most intense performance of Taylor’s career TO DATE.

Carly Rae Jepsen won best new artist, kind of a no-brainer.

One Direction was robbed! Nominated three times but did not win ANYTHING.

Lincoln Park was resurrected from pop death and somehow won an award for best alt rock artist.

Other performances included Nicki Minaj’s newest single “Freedom,” Kelly Clarkson did a medley of all her old hits, and Usher’s mashed-up of his current single.

PSY performed “Gangnam Style” like we haven’t heard it a million times already but switched it up by adding ‘90s popstar MC Hammer to the set. Pink performed her emotionally crippling song “Try” with some semi-nude dancer.

And Bieber performed “As Long As You Love” me and almost got teary eyed.
