Summer is here, and it’s time to plan your barbeques, get the pool ready, and if you’re me—make sure the padding is sitting right in your bikini top.
So grab a Country Time Lemonade, cut up some watermelon, and find out how your favorite stars are spending their summer vacations. Actress Jenna Elfman has a full schedule, telling Hollyscoop:
“I’m promoting the film (Friends With Benefits), so that will be taking a lot of my time. Planning my eldest son and my husbands birthdays, and then after all is said and done, we will try to take a family trip to Ireland.”
Trying to convince people Friends With Benefits isn’t No Strings Attached is going to keep her busy until Labor Day.
Rose McGowan tells us she’s taking a mini vacation to South Hampton. “My boyfriend has a house there,” Rose told Hollyscoop, adding that she’s been “spending a lot of time with him.” Lucky guy!
Without a Trace actress Poppy Montgomery isn’t going to have much free time. Montgomery told us, “I’m going to work on the show. Starting July I will be moving to New York and shooting Unforgettable. That is my summer, which is exciting.”
Fellow workaholic and Rock of Ages star Julianne Hough will have a busy summer as well.
“I’m going to be shooting the entire summer. Hopefully the minute this is done in August we’ll do something really nice.”
Alright, enough work talk! Where do celebs like to go to relax?
“South of France,” Lisa Vanderpump told Hollyscoop. “I loved there for a few years. I must go back this year. Take the Chickster (her dog).”
Idol contestant Kris Allen prefers to stay in the states, although Hawaii is about as exotic as you can get without a passport.
“I was actually in Hawaii not too long ago,” Allen told us. “I want to go back ‘cause I didn’t actually get to spend a lot of time there. I want to back to Hawaii or Maui, something like that.”
Hollywood party girl Allison Melnick has a full summer planned: “I think we might do this summer in Malibu…And I’m traveling to Chicago this summer to start throwing parties out there during the week.”
And that’s what summer is all about.
