Javier Bardem: Julia Roberts Isn't Intimidating

Javier Bardem says that it wasn't hard at all to work with Julia Roberts. The two star in "Eat, Pray, Love" which opens in theaters this weekend.

“I’m always saying that the great actress that she is we all knew. I’m not discovering anything here,” he said. “But I didn’t know the person and I was very impressed about how generous she is and how fun to work with her. And then when were fighting, after work we were having a good laugh.”

Julia, on the other hand was a bit scared to star in the movie alongside Bardem because of his role in No Country for Old Men.

“I was a little terrified to be around him after No Country for Old Men,” she said. “I got over it but then I’m sorry to say at one point that he pulled out a picture of him from that movie. I’d just gotten a grip on the way he really looks and then he got me back. That was cruel but funny.”

We can't wait to see the movie this Friday! Meanwhile, you can see our coverage from the premiere below:
