It's been a while since we've heard about a celebrity attacking a paparazzi, but thanks to
Jude Law, we have something to talk about this morning.
Jude reportedly attacked a female photog outside London club Automat in the early hours of Thursday morning. But he calls it an "accident." How do you accidentally attack someone?
The unnamed woman began taking photos of Jude just as he started to leave the nightclub, which is when the attack happened. She claims that Jude hit her on her head and slapped her across the face. The entire incident was caught by another paparazzi's camera.
The photographer tells British newspaper the Evening Standard, "He hit me full on the face, it was a real stinger, it was very sore.”
Now Jude is claiming that he entire thing is a misunderstanding because it was just an accident. He claims he got confused because of all the flashing lights.
A statement from his lawyer, Graham Shear, reads, "This is all nonsense. Last night's incident was an accident. Jude was blinded by the camera flashes when he left the restaurant, raised his hand to shield himself and inadvertently struck somebody standing very close. He apologized and left. Pictures of this sort can often be misleading."
Sounds like a case of he-said, she-said. We're going to have to take a look at the other pap's photos to determine who's telling the truth. Who do you believe? Jude or the pap?
