Jordin Sparks Hospitalized for Appenticitis

Poor Jordin Sparks! The former American Idol winner had to be rushed to the hospital yesterday because she was suffering from acute appendicitis!

According to Popeater.com, she twittered about her experience yesterday from the recovery room, telling her fans, Thank you so much for your thoughts & prayers. It means so much & it's so powerful."

Jordin also posted a photo of herself holding two teddy bears. The caption read: "Smiling, resting & takin it easy!"

Jordin says she expects to be out of commission for "the next week or so."
