Because social networking sites are, at their core, platforms for chicks to take pictures of themselves in the bathroom, Jordin Sparks Tweeted a picture of herself in her bikini.

The American Idol alum recently lost thirty pounds, giving herself the confidence to pose the revealing photo along with the tweet: “I don’t know why but my bathing suit reminds me of fruity pebbles :)”

Sparks used to be a plus size model, but after touring with the Jonas Brothers, dropped the weight. Her secret: good old-fashioned exercise.

“Any time I find time — or I’m not sleeping — [my trainer]’s like, ‘Let’s work out, let’s do something.’ I’m like, ‘no,’ but he gets my butt up and I’ve got to do it," Jordan said.

Just goes to show you that no matter what trendy diet is on the radar this week, you can escape having to the exercise.

"Thanksgiving I'm going to cook a huge dinner at my house for my whole family, it’s the first time everyone’s been to my house so it will be nice to celebrate the holiday there."

"Vegas! We're going to be in Vegas with my family, just celebrating being thankful for your family and friends, keeping them close."

Christian Siriano:

"We're going home to Oregon, that’s where I'm from and I'm going to take the family up to Oregon."

Kristin Chenoweth: "Our family is really traditional and I go home to Oklahoma and we read the story of Jesus out of the bible of being born than we light candles and say what were most thankful for, very dorky that’s what we do."

Russell Brand got a lot of heat for the jokes he made about the Jonas Brothers' purity rings at the MTV VMA's. He basically said it was a shame that the Jonas Brothers weren't taking advantage of their celebrity status by scoring with a lot of girls.

He upset so many people that VMA's bosses made him apologize to the Jonas Brothers. Jordin Sparks even expressed her anger over the comments. “I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It’s not bad to wear a promise ring. Because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut,” said Sparks.

Hollyscoop caught up with Taylor Swift, who is reportedly dating Joe Jonas, at the Another Cinderella Story DVD release event where she gave us her two cents on purity rings.

"The Jonas brothers are amazing and they have great attitudes about everything," Swift told Hollyscoop. "I think the way they’ve handled it has been amazing," she added.
