On the heels of a high-profile tour cancellation, Hollyscoop has learned that this musical trio isn’t so brotherly after all.
The Jonas Brothers scrapped all 19 dates of their comeback tour just two days before they were scheduled to take the stage with People magazine reporting “creative differences” by way of the group’s spokesman Jessie Derris. “There was a big disagreement over their music direction.”
Now more info surfaces concerning the band’s rumored breakup and at the center of it all is Nick Jonas.
“The reason they canceled was due to Nick not getting along with his brothers anymore, especially Kevin,” a source close to the band exclusively told Hollyscoop. “Kevin was demanding that his wife [Danielle Deleasa] go on tour and Nick cannot stand her. Neither can Joe.”
Kevin married Danielle Deleasa in 2009; their first anniversary was chronicled on the reality TV series “Married to Jonas” on E!
But the grievances between the siblings don’t end there. Money is also to blame for the added tension that indefinitely halted the tour, which was scheduled to kick off last Friday.
“Nick was also requesting more money because he believes he is the reason people would come,” the source added. “It is not due to ticket sales, but they know their time is up. That is why Nick wants to go solo.”
Don’t expect this pop outfit to return singing their greatest hits anytime soon. It sounds like the group has already officially sung their swan song.
