Jonas Brothers Are All Virgins


Attention all cougars, the Jonas Brothers are not only virgins, they wear "purity" rings and have vowed to abstain from sex until marriage. HA! Didn't Britney try to pull the same shit? We all know that was bullshit.

The rings are "just one of our ways of kind of like being different than everybody else out there," Nick tells Details Magazine.

"I got mine made at Disney World," Nick, 15 adds. "It's pretty awesome."

Aww, it’s a cute thought but we all know they're not staying virgins for long. There's definitely a few dozen tweens swooning right now though.

I think if they want to they can stay virgins. They are alot different then Britney was at their age. Joe and Kevin are 18 & 20 and they have made it this far so i think they can do it. Plus it is nice to see that some guys are doing this b/c there are alot of girls (including me) that are also doing this and i'm 19.

I respect the Jonas Brothers for such a decision. I know with the support of their family and friends that they can keep the promise that they made to God and themselves. Their act makes me even more of a fan than I would be if they didn't have such a commitment. I applaud them and know that their promise will mean a whole lot to their future wives one day.

I'm christian too and my parents made me and my brothers promise to stay pure until marriage. It's different from just saying it to actually PROMISING to god. The jonas brothers are all really well rounded SMART guys. They'll keep there promise, i can guarentee it

To call such a promise 'bullshit' is really disrespectful, especially since the Jonas Brothers have virtually nothing in common with Britney, other than being on Disney Channel. Their father used to be a preacher, and the boys aren't the type of people to engage in the negative parts of the celebrity life. If they were going to become the typical celebrity, and get involved with drugs, partying, and drinking, they wouldn't be loved by kids and parents alike across the country. Sure, they're in the Hollywood spotlight, but by no means does that mean they aren't going to keep a promise that they made to themselves and even to God. They're amazing, sweet, funny, respectful guys, and they stick to their word.

They are such great guys, and then act absolutely commited to their commitment of staying virgins until marriage! That "bs" comment I feel is really disrespectful toward them and their beliefs!! they will definitley keep that promise. im abstinent too and im 14. don't know what that means, go look it up. and yeahh, it's hard to fight the temptations but i do. i think they're setting a great example for kids and young adults. i have one friend out of church that is abstinent and we talk to each other about this stuff. teenage girls need to stop getting pregnant when they're so young. it's PATHETIC.!! and parents need to start teaching their kids what abstinent is and means. i know nick, joe, and kevin can do this. if they can then i can.

I don't get what is wrong with them wearing purity rings... believe it or not, not all guys are pigs. I think it is amazing that they have decided to make such an important decision. I am going to wait until marriage, my sister is 19 and is going to wait until marriage. At 15, you are definately old enough to make a decision that important. I think it is amazing at how good of an influence they are to all kids, not only about abstinence but also the fact that Nick is a diabetic and is reaching out to kids all over the WORLD to give them hope and help them find peace, and too let them know that nothing should keep you from reaching your dreams. The fact that you guys are bagging on them really shows nothing other than the fact that you guys are low life jerks who have nothing better to do with their time then bag on amazing people.

I am 16 and i made the commitment to stay pure until marriage. Yea, Alot can happen but saying that is "bullshit" that they won't do it is ridiculous. Just because they are in the hollywood business doesn't mean that they don't have standards and promises to keep. Yea it'll be hard but listen to their song hollywood. O.K., so I'll say it again - before these "reporters" (I use the term loosely) write/ print a story, they NEED TO DO THEIR HOMEWORK!!!! These guys have worn their rings for YEARS! This is not new!! I'm almost 17 now and still a virgin; I plan on staying a virgin until marriage. I have a card stating my promise to God to remain pure, and I also wear a purity ring. This is a great choice on their part. Althought it might be tough with all the publicity they are making in news these days with girls, most of it is not real.
