What happens when the Jonas Brothers have a film premiere in Hollywood? Mayhem! Hundreds of young girls lined up on the streets for hours just to get a glimpse of the of the famous brothers.
Some of the fans ditched school and spent hours behind barricades, while others didn’t even take a bathroom or water break.
With so much support from their fans, it’s good to see the boys give back with their latest film “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience,” especially with what’s going on with the economy these days, not many teens can afford to attend their sold out concerts.
Hollyscoop caught up with Nick, Kevin and Joe to get their thoughts on the economy and their inspiration for this film.
“What we do for our fans, we try to do things like that for our fans for the people who can't even get into the theatres if the tickets might be sold out. You never know where we will be showing up,” said Kevin.
“We’ve gone and done free shows after the shows before just try to provide to those that aren’t fortunate and can't make it to the show, that’s something that’s in our hearts,” said Nick.
Kevin continued, “But the price of a movie ticket is cheaper than a concert ticket...so it's actually great for fans that can't go to a regular tour.”
The movie doesn’t hit theatres until Friday February 27, 2009, but we hear most showings are already sold out. If you can’t wait to get a glimpse of the boys on the big screen, check out our special video coverage from the premiere below...
