Jon Voight Responds To Roseanne Barr

Jon Voight is putting in his two sense in response to Roseanne Barr's blasting of Angelina Jolie. John used his friends over at Extra to relate his feelings towards Barr.

Jon says:

Answer to Roseanne Barr's Rant:

We can never be surprised at what vile evil comes from the mouth of a confessed victim of child abuse at the hands of her own parents.

Her parents responded to the accusation by going on the air and slating she is a psychopathic liar and her sister agreed.

Her defaming of our National Anthem in 1990 gave us insight into who she is and what she is capable of saying and doing.

My allegiance to Senator McCain becomes stronger with any assault that tries to deter my loyalty to him.

I can only pray that good people see her for what she is (sick of mind).

Wow! Talk about a zinger! John really dug his nails in deep on this one. Is this a desperate attempt to regain love from Angelina and to become closer to his grandkids, or is this what any father would do to defend his daughter?

Funny isn't it that he didn't even bother to disagree with her. Just tried to make it look like a defense for his twisted daughter. Poor guy...he said himself that Angelina is mentally ill....I guess he will do whatever he can to see his grandchildren. My sympathies to dear Jon after all anyone who saw his interview BEGGING Angelina to get help knows how he truly feels....

I like what Jon had to say! He was voicing what he believes in! A person of his choice for president. We do live in the United States of America. Rosanne lives here as well, but only to collect and not to teach her son the real reason why our fore fathers died. No name calling! Then we would drop to her level.

@K, A lot of people have nervous breakdowns and go into short term care when they become overwhelmed by the pressures of life.. That doesnt make them crazy or mentally ill, in the standard sense of those words. I like Angelina, always have and think its pretty sad that a fellow "American" would criticise another just because of who they are supporting in the upcoming election. Isnt America supposed to be the land of the free? And what kind of moron bases their vote on skin color??? Shouldnt we vote for Obama based on merit and what he will do for the country?? Roseanne is too stupid for words.

"Sense" and "cents" are homonyms to each other so it is easy to see how the mistake was made. However, the numeric adjective of "two" in front of the word "sense" is erroneous because the word "sense" that it is describing is in its singular form. The word "two" should have a plural noun behind it like "cents." So, contextually the phrase "2 sense" is wrong and should read "2 cents." Besides, how can someone only put in only two senses into a response when we as humans exercise FIVE senses? Yes, proofreading is important because it helps clarify the intent of anything written.
