Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm are getting extra cozy together in a bathtub. In the first promotional stills of their new dark comedy A Young Doctor’s Notebook, the two are in a deadlock stare while sitting in the close quarters of—depending on your naked fantasies regarding this scenario—the Luckiest Tub in the World, or the Dirtiest, Filthiest, Return and Lock Away in the Darkest Corner of the Back Stock at the Nearest Pottery Barn.
Explanation: Jon depicts a village doctor who has comical conversations with his younger self, portrayed by Daniel. They take turns handling each other’s parts in a gritty tub, in other words, or the official first sentence to the hypothetical fan fiction I’m proposing. Take it away, E.L. James.
A Young Doctor’s Notebook is a four part British TV miniseries that depicts a fictional story. Yeah, like I obviously know it’s based on some short stories by esteemed playwright (I’ll pretend to have read and didn’t Wikipedia at all to sound smart) Mikhail Bulgakov, but what’s the real giveaway is this is fiction? Daniel Radcliffe grows up to become the benchmark of retro manliness that is Jon Hamm. Harry Potters just don’t alohomora their ways into Don Drapers in the real world. I mean, without Hermione’s help, anyway.
Each respective thespian has had no qualms about stripping down in the past. Daniel bared all for his theatrical turn in Equus and Jon appears to have an allergy to wearing underwear anytime he steps out in public… Can anyone refer this fake doctor to a real one, maybe? Worried.
