Jon Hamm. biography
Jonathan "Jon" Daniel Hamm was born on March 10, 1971, in St. Louis, Missouri as a natural performer, assuming the lead role of linebacker and Judas in Godspell by the time he arrived at John Burroughs School.
After graduating from the University of Missouri with a bachelor's degree in English in 1993, Jon returned to his high school to teach drama, even taking future-actress Anna Kendrick under his wing, prior to moving to Los Angeles to pursue a professional acting career in 1995.
After struggling to make his presence known in Hollywood for many years, Jon finally made his on-screen debut in both the comedy series The Hughleys (2000) and adventure film Space Cowboys (2000). A reoccurring role soon followed in the TV series Providence (2000-2001) ensued by minor roles in the independent film Kissing Jessica Stein (2001) and the military drama We Were Soldiers (2002).
Once the TV series The Division (2002-2004) came to an end in which he played an inspector, Jon appeared in various shows such as Charmed (2005), CSI: Miami (2005), What About Brian (2006-2007) and The Unit (2006-2007).
In 2007, Jon landed his big break on the TV series Mad Men playing Don Draper after auditioning seven times. From the start, Jon put on a memorable and consistent performance, garnishing praise from fans as well as critics, which has since earned him the 2008 Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series, four additional nominations for the same category (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) and five Primetime Emmy Nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012).
Now seen as a talented drama actor, Jon then showed his versatility through his comedic side in the hit sitcoms 30 Rock (2009 -2012) and Children's Hospital (2010 - 2012) before returning to the big-screen in the biopic Howl (2010), the crime thriller The Town (2010) with Ben Affleck and the romance comedy Friends with Kids (2011) alongside Maya Rudolph.
Jon's most recent projects include, the TV series A Young Doctor's Notebook (2012), the drama Million Dollar Arm (2014) and TV movie Clear History (2014) with Kate Hudson and Eva Mendes, and the animated flick Minions (2014).
Jon Hamm's Ham
While most male celebrities are quick to claim their equipment is very much endowed despite having nothing to back it up with, it looks like Jon Hamm needs no sort of announcement, well, at least not from his own mouth. No, for Jon, telling everyone that his ham is bigger than everyone else's is pointless, because his package does all the talking.
After a photo of Jon walking down the street with his private area highlighted (making it easy to see a massive bulge) popped up on the web in September 2012, many wondered if he was born that way or if Photoshop had made him that way. Jon never commented on his supposed gift, so the question still remained.
An AMC insider recently addressed the rumor to Confidential in mid March 2013, claiming that the show did in fact hire graphic experts to manipulate shots of Jon. However, not to increase his manwich size, but instead to minimize its demanding presence on screen.
The insider went on to reveal "This season takes place in the 1960s, where the pants are very tight and leave little to the imagination. Jon's impressive anatomy is so distracting that they politely insisted on underwear."
Ok, Jon must be overly stocked if people are so distracted by his private part that they feel as if it is following them around the room and need to address the problem head on by demanding he wear underwear. If it's that big, underwear will do little to conceal it. Seems as if he is in dire need of a fishing net.
It is now safe to say that Jon's ham is the true reason why mad men have popped up around the world.

1997 - Present
Jon and actress/screenwriter Jennifer Westfeldt have been dating since 1997, and worked together in Kissing Jessica Stein (2001) and Friends with Kids (2011), both of which Jessica wrote.
Despite not being married, Jon has said "We may not have a piece of paper that says we're husband and wife, but after 10 years, Jennifer is more than just a girlfriend. What we have is much deeper and we both know that. To me, people [should] get married when they're ready to have kids, which I'm not ruling out."
