Jon Gosselin Claims TLC Violated Child Labor Laws
November 12, 2009 by: ANI ESMAILIAN

Jon's lawyers argue that TLC violated Pennsylvania child labor laws by failing to obtain proper permits allowing their eight children to be filmed for Jon and Kate Plus Eight, reports Us Weekly.
But Jon & Kate were actually obligated by contract to obtain those permits themselves.
Jon is also pissed that his contract wouldn't allow him to make personal appearance or accept hosting gigs in order to make extra money on the side. "Mr. Gosselin will be unable to earn a living as a television personality, and therefore be precluded from supporting his eight children," read the papers.
The papers, which were unearthed by Radaronline, also reveal that the couple was just making $2,000 an episode when they started back in 2005. They also signed the TLC contract without an attorney.
To make a long story short, Jon is crying like a little baby about how TLC is being unfair and they practically grounded him and wouldn't let him do what he wanted, blah blah blah. Good luck Jon. It's one thing to go against your estranged wife, it's another thing to try and bring down an entire network.
