The first bit of good news is that there's actually going to be a 21 Jump Street movie. Second, Johnny Depp says he would love to make a cameo in it. Whoow!
Depp shot to superstardom in 1987 as Officer Tom Hanson in the hit TV police drama. And now he wants to give back to the franchise that made him a star.
Depp says he would love to make a cameo in Jonah Hill's forthcoming adaptation.
Johnny said: "If we find the right thing to do, it could be very funny. It
sounds like a great idea. It'd be hilarious."
Jonah recently revealed he has already written a part for Depp, but since the superstar is always so busy, he didn't expect him to agree to appear in the movie.
Jonah said last month: "We wrote a really awesome Johnny Depp cameo. I talked to his agent a few times. I've never met the man. He probably won't do it, but if he does, it will be one I think he'd be proud of, and it's a real crowd pleaser. It's not cheesy."
What a great cameo that would be! We're all for seeing more of Johnny Depp so the movie already has our seal of approval.
