Johnny Depp, he's sharing his wealth with people he thinks can use a little extra cash.
Depp was at Chicago's legendary steakhouse Gibsons recently when he left his waiter a $4,000 tip! Yes, you read it right, $4,000!
Waiter Mohammed A . Sekhani told Radar, “Johnny and his party arrived just after 11.30pm at the restaurant and requested a private room. He had visited our restaurant several times before while he was filming Public Enemies and he promised me that he would return after the premiere."
Added Sekhani : “He also ordered some $500 bottles of Italian wine and he was in good spirits throughout the evening chatting with Mr Mann and Miss Cotillard.
"I have worked with a lot of stars like Sean Connery and Robert De Niro but Johnny Depp is my favorite. He is a very soft spoken guy who is very charming and sweet – when I wait for him he doesn’t like to be too fussed over and is not in any way demanding."
The waiter went on about how Depp has visited the restaurant before and how he calls him "Mo." He said Depp is always generous with his tips, but he was "delighted" over this one specifically. Well duh! Who wouldn't be!?
That goes to show you that A-list stars can actually be more humble than diva Z listers. Way to go Johnny, our love for you just went up another 10 notches!
