John Travolta the Preacher

April 17, 2007

John Travolta recently credited his cult (Scientology) for the reason that he didn't end up like Elvis and Marilyn Monroe.

“I have fame on the level of a Marilyn Monroe or an Elvis, but part of the reason I didn’t go the way they did was because of my beliefs,” Travolta told the Irish Independent.

Then he went on with the brainwashing scheme saying, “People make judgments about it [Scientology], but often they don’t know what they’re talking about,” Travolta said. “I would advise anyone who wants to know about it to read up on it. We [the Church of Scientology] are only getting bigger and we help people all over the world, from disaster zones to drug rehabilitation.”

I just got this article and I am also upset that Travolta is using Marilyn and Elvis for his promotive action for the cult he is part of.

Oh "Viv" do you have a real name, too? Because it is obvious to anybody with 2 ounces of brain mass, that you are one of "them." I have received threats before and we are living still in a free country and I am not buying into INTIMIDATION, that was a method that brought the NAZIS into power. After your brain has been washed alright--you should put yourself in a dryer and hopefully you will come out normal, again. If you got any alc or drug problems--go and join the AA's and they have been around for decades longer than Ron Hubbard lived on his "ship" with his SERVANTS who were dressed in uniforms etc......you get the picture. Just because you believe in Aliens, you do not have to worship them. But to compare himself to Marilyn Monroe, just because he has more money than Marilyn EVER had in her life--is outright stupid. Money has nothing to do with fame and love from fans. John Travolta is a joke like Tom Gay Cruise. Their lawyers can tell us a million times that they do not like men--but we still believe what we see. And trust me, I have seen more than enough to just believe. I know.

Um, yeah....NO. Apparently, most people that "think" they know about scientology, really know jack (bleep). For one, all scientology cares about is $$$$ (viv). It is a true blue cult that was made up by a sci fi writer! They are so anti drug, HOWEVER the creater was found with buttloads of drugs in his system. I suggest you check out scientolgykills.com. Maybe you'll learn something. Or read the bible. You'll learn the truth that way. Im just saying....

I've read the books on Scientology and it makes sense. Unfortunately the media take on Scientology is altered to sensationalize and promote what their advertisers want.

WTF?! This warn out pancake face compares himself to the King and Marilyn Monroe? He is as famous as Marilyn Monroe? What??? In his homoerotic dreams, maybe. Pictures speak louder than words, and I would not call SCIENTOLOGY a church! It is still a cult, who believes that we were dropped off be Aliens etc. The cult guru himself was a scientfiction WRITER. And when Johnny boy is sitting in an interview, he is holding hands with wifie?! Do you know anybody who has been married for REAL and is holding hands with his wife after a month or so? I do not. Sorry. I am sick an tired of this bull--especially if he is telling crap like he does and when he starts comparing himself to Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley--there is a whole UNIVERSE between that Brokeback Mountain like queen and the legends of Rock'n Roll and Hollywood. His last movies were painful, I could not even sit through. Wonder what poor Scarlett Johannson went through, to film with that diva who was playing himself: a drunk!

i agree religion helps people keep them sane, even if their religion is wacky, britney should take on a religion and seriously practice it.
