John Travolta Sends Message of Gratitude to Fans

John Travolta wasn’t ready to do any press for his current movie Taking of Pelham 1 2 3. But he did take the time to write a statement to his fans. John took to his official website to mention all of the hard work that went into making the film, and how wonderful it was work with Tony Scott and Denzel Washington.

Part of the statement reads:

“Tony, Denzel, Luis, John, James and Sony Pictures stepped up without hesitation to help promote this wonderful film, and their unselfish efforts have allowed my family the additional time to reconcile our loss.

I am very proud of the efforts we have all made in making this movie, and I want each and every one of you to enjoy it. So, set your calendars for the weekend of June 12th. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.”

That was so sweet of John to do! He and his family must be going through such a hard time right now, so it’s completely understandable that he wouldn’t be up for doing press to promote his film. But he still took the time to thank his co-stars and fans for understanding.
