John Travolta is the latest celebrity to land in Haiti following the devastation. He left his home in Florida last night and headed to Haiti on his private jet filled with supplies for the victims.
John was unable to be a part of Friday night’s Hope for Haiti telethon because he and wife Kelly Preston, along with Morgan Freeman, were hosting the Living Legends of Aviation awards ceremony, where friend Tom Cruise received an award.
Following the event, Travolta addressed the devastation in Haiti, telling E! News, "We sent a plane down already, and we're sending another one down Monday, and I'm flying. I'm looking forward to that."
According to the AP, Travolta filled his Boeing 707 with four tons of ready-to-eat military rations, medical supplies, and a team of doctors and Scientology ministers.
“We have the ability to help make a difference in the situation in Haiti and I just can’t see not using this plane to help,” he said in a statement.
