One of the defendants in the John Travolta family extortion case has been caught out! Tarino Lightbourne was captured on video acknowledging that he realized he was committing a crime.

A videotape obtained by Radar features Lightbourne in a taped conversation with Pleasant Bridgewater and Michael McDermott on January 20th of this year.

The transcript is as follows:

McDermott: “You know what we’re both doing here, okay…

Lightbourne: Yes.

McDermott: ...is a criminal offense.

Lightbourne: Yes.

McDermott: Okay. If we get caught, we’re both in trouble.

Lightbourne: Yes.

The transcript also contains a conversation between McDermott and Bridgewater discussing how Lightbourne came up with his $25 million blackmail demand.

Bridgewater tells McDermott: “…he’s probably thinking that he’s going to lose his job cause he’s on suspension and so I guess he—he probably is trying to make it worth his mile – worth his while. I don’t know.”

We figured from the beginning that these people were shady. But now it’s confirmed. We hope each of the people trying to extort money from the Travoltas get what’s coming to them.
