From A-list to D-list, John Mayer is all about downgrading these days. Spies spotted Mayer at LA Hotspot Villa last night getting cozy with Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger.

"They were chatting and getting really close - she was into it," said a source, adding they left "within minutes of each other."

Nicole's cute and all but what’s with John Mayer lately? He went from Cameron Diaz and Jessica Simpson to Ricki Lake and Nicole from PCD. Step up your game man, your disappointing us!
