The biggest burn is when a couple breaks up and then the one that was the dumper moves on so quickly. It just feels like they really didn’t care about the relationship in the first place.
That’s probably how Jessica Simpson feels right now since John Mayer has already moved on. Mayer has been spotted (although we haven’t seen any pics of the two hooking up) with Cameron Diaz in NYC and Jess, apparently, isn’t taking that too well.
When she initially heard about the news, “She had her mouth open a mile wide when she found out...She just freaked.”
“She thinks about him all the time,” a source told Us Weekly. “She is so not over him.”
Breakups are always hard but you can’t force something to work when it’s really not meant to work.
