John Krasinski. biography
John Krasinski was born on October 20, 1979, in Newton, Massachusetts, and first took acting seriously when the future writer of The Office, B.J. Novak, cast him in a comical high school play.
While interning at NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien, John graduated from Brown University with a degree in playwriting. Instead of pursuing writing, however, John tried his hand at acting and was soon landing many minor roles in such TV shows as Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2004) and C.S.I. (2005).
In 2005, John made his big-screen debut in Jarhead before getting his big break as Jim Halpert in the hit TV series The Office (2005-2013).
Also during this time, Jim was building up his resume with starring roles alongside popular actors, including Robin Williams in License to Wed (2007), George Clooney in Leatherheads (2008), Meryl Streep in It’s Complicated (2009), Kate Hudson in Something Borrowed (2011), and Matt Damon in Promised Land (2012).
John’s most recent projects include the TV series Arrested Development (2013), Monsters University (2013) and The Prophet (2014).

John first met Rashida Jones on the set of The Office. They dated on and off for a year before parting ways for good.
2007 – 2007
Dating rumors surrounding Leatherheads co-stars John and Renee Zellweger began circulating when the two were see out together on several occasions. The rumors were never confirmed.
November 2008 – Present
According to sources, John was first hooked up with Emily Blunt by her The Devil Wears Prada co-star Anne Hathaway. The two went on to get engaged in August 2009 before tying the knot on July 10, 2010, in Como, Italy.
They announced Emily’s pregnancy in September 2013.
