Joel Madden: I Love Kids

Joel Madden has turned from rocker boy into one of the cutest Hollywood dads out there. He and maybe wife Nicole Richie just welcomed their second child, Sparrow, into the world, and Joel seems happier than ever!

The young parents attended the Noble Awards in Beverly Hills last night, at which Joel received an award for his work with The Art of Elysium, The Richie Madden Foundation and UNICEF.

Joel says his charity work is a family ordeal. He tells People, "They are just as much a part of it. Nicole does just as much as I do with Art of Elysium and all the charities we work with. And so does Benj – Benj actually does more then I do, and he plays the guitar better then I do, so he is a little more entertaining for the kids."

Speaking of, Joel is getting pretty used to this daddy thing. He says, "I love kids, I love working with kids, I love being around kids.”

He says little Harlow loves having a little brother as well, saying, She loves it. She's so happy, she's just psyched. She totally gets it. It fit in perfectly there – hasn't been a hitch."

We’re still trying to figure out if Joel and Nicole are already secretly married, and it sure seemed like that was the case, when Lionel Richie introduced him last night. Lionel told the crowd, "I want to welcome him to our family and present this Noble award to a guy I love very much - Joel Madden!"

Whatever their status is, they definitely seem like a big happy family!
