Joel Madden Denies Marriage Rumors

Last week, rumors started swirling that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were already secretly married. The story was that they decided to marry secretly right after Nicole gave birth to Sparrow.

Sources said Nicole was also deeply saddened by the death of her ex DJ AM, and didn’t want to live her life with any regrets.

But now we hear it’s all hogwash! Joel spoke with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show this morning to clear everything up.

“Obviously, marriage is in our future,” Madden told Ryan, “I don’t know when or where or how, but right now our priority is our family and is the baby.”

He added, “That’s all we’ve been thinking about. We are in love and are really happy.”

Joel also cleared it up for all his Twitter followers. He tweeted: “i keep getting emails from old friends and family asking about a wedding. NO we didn’t get married.”

Guess that pretty much kills that rumor! Regardless of their status, the Richie-Maddens are one of our favorite Hollywood families!
