Sources, aka people who don't deserve to be friends with celebrities, are running to US Weekly with news of the break-up.
"It's totally over," says a source.
"It was a long time coming. They'll both be better off for it." says another insider.
But Manganiello has seemed to be recovering from the split quite nicely. He was spotted on Monday, September 12 at the W Hotel's Fashion Next party for Fashion Week where he and actress Rose McGowan sat together and chatted while sipping champagne.

Joe proposed to his actress girlfriend Audra Marie while on vacation in Italy, his rep told People magazine.
Joe, who plays werewolf Alcide Herveaux on the hit HBO show, met Marie at a 2009 Super Bowl party, but he admits it wasn't exactly smooth sailing.
“She wouldn’t go out with me for six months,” he has said. "We started dating a few months before I got cast [on True Blood]."
He added that Audra is "a great dresser. She's gorgeous, and she's tall. And she's sweet ... nice. And she makes crazy English breakfasts."
Joe was spotted at the Puma Social event in Hollywood on Tuesday night with a smile that stretched from ear to ear. He spent most of the night playing ping pong with friends, with his bride-to-be close by.
