After the Jonas Brothers announced that they had canceled their tour, the boys have just released a statement that the group formerly known as the Jonas Brothers is no more.
The tour is canceled and the Jonas Brothers have broken up.
“It’s over for now,” Kevin Jonas told People.
“It’s really hard to say ‘forever,’” said Nick, “We’re closing a chapter, for sure.”
So, there’s a chance that they might reunite, as evidenced by the “for now.”
Also, in case you thought one of the dudes was calling all the shots, Joe added that “it was a unanimous decision,” however, we have a feeling it was Joe that REALLY wanted out.
He also said, “I was feeling kind of trapped. I needed to share my heart with my brothers.”
We also have the inside scoop on WHY the brothers were drifting apart. Joe is reportedly struggling with substance abuse while Nick is supposedly making outrageous demands, which the other two brothers wouldn’t meet.
Just last week, “they were working out their issues and rallying around Joe and he is accepting the help and getting the proper treatment he needs.”
Maybe all didn’t go as planned?
