According to TMZ, Joe is looking to get anywhere between $10 million and $500 million in his wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Conrad Murray.
Michael Jackson's Dad Admits to Beating Him
Jackson claims this is in "the realistic range of provable damages."
Joe says 20% of his damages are for loss of support, 40% are for emotional distress and 40% are for "loss of comfort, aid, society and companionship."
Joe Jackson Sues AEG
Jackson also claims he’s flat broke, but then again so does Dr. Murray. So we have no idea where Joe thinks he’s getting these millions!
Murray has pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter stemming from Jackson's death and is awaiting a preliminary hearing in January to determine if he will face trial.
What a mess!

Michael's mother Katherine Jackson is the latest family member to jump on the bandwagon. She's suing concert promoters AEG Live for putting Michael is harms way.
The lawsuit claims that Michael was disoriented and shivering at his final rehearsal for his shows at the UK capital’s 02 Arena, adding: “AEG had legal duties to Michael Jackson to treat him safely and to not put him in harm’s way.
“But AEG, despite its knowledge of Michael Jackson’s physical condition, breached those duties by putting its desire for massive profits from the tour over the health and safety of Michael Jackson.”
Also revealed in the lawsuit, it is alleged Dr. Conrad Murray, who has been charged with the involuntary manslaughter of the singer, made medical decisions under the control of the company, who were paying him $150,000 a month to work as his private physician.
According to the suit: “AEG knew or should have known that it was jeopardizing Jackson’s health and safety by assuming control over the doctor-patient relationship between Jackson and Murray, and by directing and influencing Murray to act without regard to medical safety standards.”
It also accused AEG’s “actions and inactions” to leave the world without “its most celebrated entertainer."
The lawsuit, which was filed on Wednesday at the Los Angeles Superior Court, adds: "Due to AEG's actions and inactions, three loving children lost their father, a loving mother and father lost their son, the Jackson siblings lost their brother, and the world lost its most celebrated entertainer.”
Katherine, who was named the guardian of Michael's three kids Prince Michael, 13 Paris, 12, and eight-year-old Prince Michael II, known as Blanket, claims they to have been put in “harm’s way” by the company.
While dealing with the loss of a child is never easy, the Jackson's seem to blame AEG for all of Michael's problems, which isn't necessarily the case. Story developing...

In a new interview filmed by JacksonSecretVault.com Joe responded to the claim that he was “a bit too strict” with Michael.
“I had to be like that because, when raising him in those days, so many gangs out there [were] getting into trouble, going to jail. Most of them are dead now. He didn’t have to worry about that,” he said.
In fact, Joe has no regrets over his relationship with his famous son: “They tried to make a big issue when I spanked Michael or some of the kids. Just like they didn’t spank their kids when they did wrong. The media twists everything.”
Well if that’s not calling the kettle black, we don’t know what is! Joe is the king of twisting things around! We don’t know how his kids or Katherine Jackson put up with him all those years.

MJ's mother Katherine Jackson is reportedly tired of her husband Joe's cruel behavior and wants to legally separate.
They've been estranged for over five years now, but Katherine simply doesn't want to be married to Joe anymore. And we don't blame her!
According to a report by Showbiz411, a source says of the alleged divorce explained, "She’s never gotten over [Joe Jackson blaming her for Michael's death]."
Joe lashed out at Katherine in the press for not intruding in Michael's life more. "I begged her to go over and stay with him, but she insisted he needed his privacy," he said after Michael's death.
So what took Katherine so long to finally kick him to the curb? She's said to be reluctant to officially end the marriage, because as a Jehovah's Witness she doesn't believe in divorce.

Joe will file a wrongful death lawsuit today against Dr. Murray and will ask for unspecified damages.
According to TMZ Joe won't include AEG in the suit, even though he thinks they're partially responsible for his son's death.
How Michael Jackson's KIds Are Coping With Death
The suit claims, "Mr. Jackson believes there are other parties responsible for Michael Jackson's death but has not yet gathered sufficient information regarding their potential liability or responsibility." The suit says the complaint will be amended when sufficient info is gathered.
In the lawsuit Joe claims that Dr. Murray withheld vital information from the doctors and EMTs who were trying to save Jackson's life--the most important being that he had administered Propofol. He also mentions that Dr. Murray "cleaned up the scene" right before medics arrived.
Ironically it was Joe Jackson that introduced Michael to Dr. Murray in Las Vegas, after Michael mentioned needing a doctor for his children back in 2006.
AEG Pays $1 Million for Michael Jackson's Memorial
Today marks the one-year anniversary of Michael's death and unfortunately he still continues to make headlines for alleged drug use, financial issues and his wacky family. So sad. Hope you're resting in some peace MJ--you're truly missed!

Joe is accusing AEG of "unlawful practice of corporate medicine," claiming they paid Dr. Conrad Murray to give Michael the lethal dose of propofol, which resulted in his death last June.
Joe Jackson: Michael's Mom is Responsible for Her Death
The complaint states: "AEG hired, directed, controlled and demanded Dr. Conrad Murray, a medical doctor, to medicate Michael Jackson, provide Jackson with dangerous medical services and to give Michael Jackson controlled substances and other drugs without providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation equipment or nursing assistance as it had promised in writing it would provide,"
He's also claiming that AEG failed to provide Dr. Murray with a registered nurse and proper equipment, as stated in Michael's AEG contract, "AEG shall provide Dr. Murray for his use during the term with medical equipment requested by Dr. Murray to assist him in performing the services as approved by AEG."
No word on how much Joe is suing AEG for, but he makes a good point. We just hope the money goes to Michael's estate instead of Joe's pocket.

Katherine's lawyers have blasted Joe's “preposterous” claims she was responsible for their son Michael’s death. Joe claims that Katherine is to blame for MJ's death because she refused to force him to seek help for prescription drug addiction, but her lawyers have now hit out at Joe and his stupid comments.
Joe Jackson: Michael's Mom is Responsible for His Death
Katherine’s lawyer, Adam Streisand, told TMZ: “The world knows that Mrs. Jackson has always been a loving mother and grandmother, and that she and Michael had a very special relationship. The world also knows who Joe Jackson is and he seems bent on never letting us forget."
Howard Weitzman, lawyer for the Michael Jackson estate, added: "The inference by Joe Jackson that Mrs. Jackson was in any way responsible for Michael's death is preposterous. Katherine Jackson was a supportive and loving mother throughout Michael's life. His love and respect for her is reflected in his estate plan."
Joe Jackson: AEG is Responsible for Michael's Death
According to both lawyers, Joe received nothing in Michael’s will and relies on an allowance from Katherine, who raises MJ's children Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 12, and Prince Michael II, eight.
Joe has been trying to squeeze money out of the estate since MJ passed, but has been unsuccessful so far. When MJ was alive he made it pretty clear that he never liked nor trusted his father. He loved his mom and often spoke very highly of her. MJ fans know the truth, so Joe can keep running his mouth and placing blame, but we all know how MJ felt about him.

Last week he blamed AEG and this week his target is Michael's mother Katherine. Joe sat down with the News of the World to talk about Michael's death and how he blames Katherine for not stepping in to save him.
Joe Jackson: AEG to Blame for Michael's Death
In the video he says, "As a mother you know, mothers always the one the sons looks up to. I wanted her to step in and go in and say, look Mike a bit. Keep him cheered up, because you know if your mother’s around you the son, I would think, would feel better."
“But she didn’t want to do that,” he continued, “because she was afraid that she was invading his privacy. And so I thought that, and we argued about that several times. And she says, I think Katherine if you don’t go and er…and er see him be with him or otherwise. He ain’t going to be with us too long.”
If he was so concerned about Michael's well being he should have stepped in and tried to save him.
He had no problem stepping in and asking for money but when his son was in need of help he turned his cheek and told his mother to take care of? No wonder Michael didn't want anything to do with his father!

According to TMZ, Joe’s lawyer Brian Oxman is preparing to file a complaint against AEG with the United States Attorney General, claiming the company violated the Americans With Disabilities Act.
Michael Jackson's Kids May Be Forced to Testify
Say what??! We know, crazy! Joe believes AEG knew his son was a drug addict and was disabled, yet pressured him to rehearse for long hours in preparation for the London shows.
Oxman also reportedly plans to file a complaint with the Medical Board of California, alleging AEG was unauthorized in taking charge of Michael's medical treatment.
Judge Postpones Ruling to Suspend Dr. Conrad Murray's License
Dr. Conrad Murray’s lawyer even commented on the case, saying, "Mr. Oxman has some questions with regard to AEG's participation in the last days of Michael Jackson's life and he should ask those questions."
But that doesn’t mean Murray’s in the clear—sources say Oxman is also planning on filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the doctor, claiming he was responsible for his death.
This is so sad. Michael’s death has become nothing more than a blame game. Who do you think is responsible for the King of Pop’s death?

Joe Jackson's lawyer is demanding publication of the King of Pop's posthumous earnings following reports his estate has made $900 million since his death last year.
Jackson Kids To Get $33 Million Each from Michael's Will
According to reports, since his death, Jackson's estate administrators have signed a $250 million deal with Sony which gave the record label full access to the singer's back catalogue and unreleased material. The release of his This Is It film made more than $260 million .
An insider tells Britain's Sunday Mirror, "The estate has made around $900 million in cash since Michael's death. This is an incredible amount. No other artist has ever made that much since they died. It should ensure Michael goes down in history as the greatest artist of all time."
Now Joe Jackson is calling for administrators to publish details of the star's posthumous earnings. He tells the publication, "They are being too secretive. The public has a right to know what the estate is doing in his name."
It's so obvious that he wants a cut of it! We hope the story that came out last week about the children getting all the money is true!
