Joe Francis, founder of 'Girls Gone Wild,' was arrested at the Panama City airport this morning, there was already a warrant out for his arrest.
Why was Joe Francis arrested? Well, a judge ordered his arrest last week when Francis reportedly changed terms of a settlement deal with a suit involving 7 women. These women accused Francis of victimizing them by filming them in naughty positions while on spring break.
The U.S. District Judge Richard Smoak ordered Francis to surrender to authorities in Panama City by Thursday. He would begin to serve jail time for contempt of court, but word comes that he missed the
deadline.
According to the News Herald, Francis said: "I'm not trying to hide at all. I'm on my way to Florida right now to turn myself in and comply with the judge's order. I would never run from justice."
