For the last few months
Joaquin Phoenix has been acting very strange. He grew out a beard and started acting a bit koo koo. He has since quit acting and is currently pursuing a career in rap music. Unfortunately for him, it's not going too well. He's had a few shows and lets just say he was too busy fighting with the fans then actually singing.
Many think it is all for a documentary which his brother-in-law Casey Affleck is shooting but the director for his latest flick, James Gray claims that it actually might be the real thing.
Gray told the Times of London: "It's like, Letterman was trying to get the movie out there, but the only thing that's out there now is a crazy person with a beard making a fool of himself."
He added, "Towards the end of the movie he kept saying, 'I'm tired . . . I don't want to act anymore . . . But I must say, I've seen him in his house, and he has his own recording studio . . . if this is a hoax, then it's the most elaborate thing that I have ever seen."
Why would Joaquin just throw away his career like that? Many would die to be in his position and he is just letting it go. Sad. Do you guys think it's still a hoax?
