Rowling not only made $300 million dollars in the last year alone, she's also the world's highest paid author, according to Forbes magazine.

A Forbes spokesman said: "It was wizardry that transformed JK Rowling from a destitute single mother on welfare into a best-selling billionaire.

Gotta give it to Rowling, she went from being a struggling mother on welfare to a verrrrry wealthy lady , and all off some children's books.
