Yup, you read it right, J.K. Rowling makes $10,000 a second!

Rowling not only made $300 million dollars in the last year alone, she's also the world's highest paid author, according to Forbes magazine.

A Forbes spokesman said: "It was wizardry that transformed JK Rowling from a destitute single mother on welfare into a best-selling billionaire.

'Harry Potter' author J.K. Rowling received an honorary doctor of letters degree from Harvard University on Thursday.

During her commencement ceremony she told guests, "We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all the power we need inside ourselves already; we have the power to imagine better."

Dozens of alumni's paid tribute to Rowling by showing up for the ceremony carrying blooms. Much props to Rowling, who created a multi billion dollar empire based on her very vivid...
