But the president didn’t just stop at the standard show-up-and-get-interviewed; he went a little further and got his slow jam on!
Fallon’s tone – not to mention the hype leading up to the appearance – set the mood that something big was about to happen.
The host announced he wanted to slow jam the news that night. Moments later Obama materialized from behind the curtain announcing, "I'm President Barack Obama and I, too, want to slow jam the news."

Reg kept good on his promise to not cry on Friday's farewell show, which was pretty much one big tribute to the man. Ripa read a letter to him about the "43 steps" they took together each morning to the stage. Ripa said:
"You always want to make me feel like a million bucks," Ripa said to Philbin.
Regis' goodbye was saved for last:
"Some people ask, why has the show stayed on so long? And I think it's answered to me every time people tell me why they watch it.

During a performance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last week, Beyonce's baby bump disappeared. It was weird. She wore a tight black dress and looked like pre-baby Beyonce. I mean, I know Spanx are amazing, but I don’t think they're hide-a-baby-amazing. So where did it go?
Well, thanks to TV magic, this was actually a performance that was pre-recorded. Beyonce recorded the performance earlier this summer, when she wasn't full-blown preggars. But Jimmy Fallon acted like she was right there in the studio.

Tiger went on ABC's Good Morning America Thursday to talk about how difficult it is being a single dad and how he's trying to get his life back on track.
"It's work, there's no doubt," Tiger said about single fatherhood. "It's tough. But it's enjoyable. That's the work I love." Funny enough, we haven't seen any photos of him with his kids in months. And you know the paps camp out right outside his house.
He added, "I just love being with them and seeing what they're doing, what they're capable of doing – the joys, just the shifts of interest. … It's just fun. We have a great time together."
He also made a pit stop on NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to talk about his "painful and awful" year.
Fallon said to Woods, "It's been a year and a half since you've been on the show. What you been up to?"
There came a laugh from the audience, before Woods nonchalantly responded, "Nothin', nothin'."
This was Tiger's first late night appearance since 2009. But obviously his name has come up a few times. Fallon told the golfer, "From a comedian's standpoint, and my monologue writers', thank you."

In a mock ad for a cologne called "Winning," the funny guy does an uncanny Charlie Sheen impersonation complete with winners cigarettes, a winners smile and a winners attitude. Duh, winning!
“I’m like Zeus in a Speedo,” Jimmy says. “I’m going to embrace my life. I’m going to put both arms around it and love it violently and defend it violently through violent hatred.”
"What's my name? Carlos Estevez? Come se dice 'winning?'"
Check out the hilarious spoof below and remember to live your life by the wise words of Charlie Sheen: "the only thing I'm addicted to right now is winning."

During a Wednesday night visit to 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,' Wintour spoke about this year's Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala and Gaga's pre-show rituals, and a specific incident which didn't sit well with Wintour.
"We had Lady Gaga this year," said Wintour. "There was a moment when she was communing with God and she was praying in the back, waiting for God to tell her it was all right to go actually onstage."
Apparently Gaga had a very long chat with God, which clearly annoyed the real queen of fashion. "Fortunately he gave her the message after 45 minutes," she quipped.
Fallon jokingly replied, "I always talk to God, too -- whenever he says I can start the show. He books a lot of acts in New York City," he quipped.
"You know how to throw a party," he told Wintour. "It's so well organized. The biggest of the bigs in fashion, and everybody's got these beautiful gowns. You have a few drinks and then a crazy awesome performance."

According to EW, it was the largest audience for any non-sports telecast this year since American Idol season finale on May 26. The show also earned the highest adults 18-49 rating (4.1) for any telecast since the Glee season finale on June 8.
2010 Emmy Winners List
It was the most-watched Emmy telecast in four years, and we credit Jimmy for the 0.2 percent boast from last year.
There were lots of surprises yesterday at the Emmys, which also helped keep viewers glued to the tube. Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey's reign at the Emmys ended last night when Jim Parsons from "Big Bang Theory" and Edie Falco from "Nurse Jackie" snagged up Best Actor and Actress in a comedy.
2010 Emmy Red Carpet Photos
On the drama front it was the same old story for the most part as "Mad Men" won for the third year in a row, as did Bryan Cranston, the star of AMC's other big series, "Breaking Bad," but those were well deserved.
How did you feel about last night’s winners? Were you pleased or disappointed with the show overall?

He mocked his own network and the Emmys, but did it in such a lighthearted way, no one got offended. In fact he did such a great job he's already set to host the 83rd Academy Awards in February.
“Just doing my show I get to see stars and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I’m sitting here talking to Michael Caine or I’m having a conversation with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards,” Jimmy said.
But he admits he gets so star struck it'll be hard for him to hold himself together during the Oscars.
“These are people I never in my life would think I’d sit down and just have a conversation with so I don’t know what it will be like at the Oscars.”
We spotted Jimmy on the red carpet before the big show going up to various stars. At one point he ran into the kids from Modern Family and seemed so genuinely excited. He told them he was a huge fan of the show and think they're all doing an amazing job. Aww!

Her recent attempt at the Paso Doble was not only difficult to watch, it wasn't even a dance! She basically walked around the stage pretending to dance to Lady Gaga's Paparazzi.
Funny guy Jimmy Fallon must have been the only guy on the planet that actually enjoyed her performance, because he devoted some of his show to her dance. Check out Jimmy's hilarious impression of Kate on his show below...

Before the interview Jimmy did a hilarious sketch while in a tree with Rob. "The month of March," Fallon said in his latest "Robert Is Bothered" skit, "comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb. What the f--- does that mean? Pick an animal and stick with it!"
"Hey," Rob interrupted, his arms wrapped around the tree just behind Fallon, "I don't talk like that."
