Jewel Gives Birth to Baby Boy

Little Kase Townes was born at 7pm on Monday night and weighed 7lbs., 6 oz.
“Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world," Jewel tells People. "We are overcome with happiness – it really is as great as everyone told us it would be – better even!"
Jewel had been verbal about how hard it had been to conceive, it took her over two years to get pregnant, so we’re beyond thrilled that they have a healthy baby boy.
It’s been a busy week for celebrity babies. Victoria Beckham had a baby girl over the weekend, little Harper Seven and Kate Hudson welcomed a baby boy. Kate still hasn’t named her son, but I’m sure it’ll be a strange celebrity baby name.
